Coffe House

I started this journey with the analysis and synthesis of the neighborhood and the area given to me in this adventure we embarked on in the Yenimahalle neighborhood. As a result of the analyses and syntheses I made, I encountered a high density of students in the neighborhood, which I thought was due to the nearby schools. However, I realized that there are not many areas suitable for students to work in the neighborhood, such as the library and cafe. By focusing on this problem, I started the first steps of my project by combining my concept, the cafe, and the library. Then I started to produce various flats in which people of all typologies could live in accordance with the idea of social housing. As a result of the analyses I made, I accepted the pedestrian axis formed by the people on the road right next to my area as a starting point for my form and created the most suitable form for my land, the people living there, and the neighborhood. I used this movement to create a point of attraction while protecting the pedestrian axis so that the residents of the neighborhood do not give up on their habits. I attract people with my landscaping, which suits the dynamism that my form brings me. By combining two common areas that can be used by people of all ages, I created a small, cozy place where you can sometimes have your coffee and sit in the library, sometimes take your book and read in the cafe, and sometimes take a break between an intensive lesson and reward yourself with small snacks. You can continue your book and coffee pleasure in the open air in the library's private backyard. Upwards, you can see the stairs and the elevator, which connect you to the circulation from the middle of the form and have a completely separate entrance from the cafe. I appeal to a wide audience with a variety of flats that can accommodate any number of people. a social housing project with six different types of flats (large and small). As it was my first experience solving six different plans together, it was quite challenging, as was moving forward without breaking my determined form, which made things even more difficult. Despite everything, it was a beautiful project with pleasant, livable areas.
