Studio Plus

Studio Plus is a project that emerged from the lack of socialization and development area in the Yenimahalle Neighborhood, which I felt was lacking in line with the analysis and observations I made on the site. In this studio, it is aimed to appeal to all ages from 7 to 70. It has been tried not to use fixed items in the studio and generally consists of movable tables and chairs. Thus, flexibility was attempted to be provided in the area. In addition, Studio Plus; is a multi-purpose studio where events such as exhibitions, workshops, conferences, performance areas, and cocktails can be held. In line with the analysis I made, I preferred a low-rise building to keep up with the area. Apart from that, I used a hipped roof, large balconies, and large windows in terms of harmony with the surrounding buildings. The building, where the studio is located on the ground floor, has 5 floors in total and has different types of flats as 1+1, 2+1, and 3+1 on the upper floors. While solid-void analysis was used to decide on the shape of the building, sun-path and prevailing wind direction analysis were used for the location of the balconies.
