The project we did for Yenimahalle in Kayseri was a project with a residence and integrated social space. As a result of our analyzes in Yenimahalle, we have considered important factors such as human circulation, traffic flow and green space in general. My project area was an area on the main street with a parking lot and a parking lot behind it. As a concept, I learned that the new neighborhood served the employees of the Sumer Textile factory previously. The main reason that led to my concept idea was that it left the Sumer textile factory in the past to the university. I designed an engineering laboratory to bring university students and ex-experienced engineers and people together and create a social environment.

The building I designed as an engineering laboratory consists of a residence and a laboratory function. Due to the location of the area, human circulation occurs between the parking area at the back and the main street. There is a cafe that serves human circulation. External staircase, elevator and bridge design form the basis of horizontal and vertical circulation. I continued my design process with bridged crossings and sliding structures to attract people's attention and make them feel that there is a different structure around. While creating the sliding structures in my design, I gave importance to spatial definition. For example, I wanted to avoid the usual designs by creating balconies, creating windows that see different facades.

Movements on the façade reveal structures that grow from a small surface area. The movements given in the building have made the rooms more useful. The number of facades of the flats has increased and daylight has been utilized more efficiently

Solving the vertical circulation outside was the key point of this project. Using glass, concrete and steel mesh on the circulation façade was a design to differentiate the façade from the outside and attract people's attention.
