Housing + in Yeni Mahalle, Kayseri

In this project, I worked in the 3rd area. I started to determine my form and social area in line with the site analysis I made. When there was no social area near the 3rd area, I chose my social area as a cafe in residential building.

While deciding on the form of the building, I started from the grid system of the new neighborhood. I wanted to create a grid system on the facade with indentations. In addition, I leaned the apartments on the north and west facades as they go up so that all the apartments can receive daylight, thus creating mobility on the south and east facades. With the formation of the flat plans, the form took its final form.

Another important point in my project is the floor gardens.

Again, according to site analysis, the number of green areas around where people can gather is very few or even nonexistent. That's why and because I have enough space, I created floor gardens in most apartments.
