Göktürk Alparslan Ulu

Residential+commercial housing block is located in the ‘Yenimahalle’. In this area, which is one of the first regular neighborhood examples in the world, there are the same types of housing. The aim of this projectis to combine different plan types in a single building block with INCLUSIVE DESIGN and   present it with public function. Project area located on at CORNER(intersection) point of the neighboorhood. . Public spaces have been strengthened with the LANDSCAPE DESIGN to include pedestrian circulation . Another part is to have a strong, continuous facade design that will highlight the building's shape. Corten perforated panels were positioned between two concrete lines because it is important to sense where my movement begins and ends  the structure. The southern side, which gets the sun on the pole surface, was given the façade design. The perforated çörten panels help to manage the amount of heat on the façade and gives a sense of depth with shadows.

There are 7 homes spread over 3 stories in the residential part. The residential part features an underground parking garage and a shared roof deck. The dwelling part continues the function I provide in the public space, with the common rooftop area standing out. Additionally, by doing this, the house's entrance under-the-roof  was highlighted. Residential Part is also separated from the public part by the underground car park belonging to the house part.

The ground level offers two parts  open to the public. These are shops and cafesthe project area is intended to become livelier and more accessible. In the cafe part, there is an area where only drinks are sold and people can spend their time comfortably. and in the shop part sales and repair areas are separated from each other.
