Housing + in Yeni Mahalle, Kayseri

The garden is a project that combines a commercial role with its original purpose which is a social housing. The idea came when we were searching the neighborhood for analysis I realized that the area doesn't have enough green spaces in it. And almost no cafe where you can study or just have a quiet and cozy environment so the project aims to provide   these things to the neighborhood. This garden house project is highlighting the potential for urban gardens and the development of microclimates that could enhance urban living standards and mitigate global warming by using green walls which reduce air pollution, reduce urban temperatures, provides thermal benefits to buildings, Improve biodiversity Attenuate Rain water.reduce noise.Improve sense of well-being. They are basically vertical structures that have different types of plants or other greenery attached to them. While finding the form of the building it was designed to follow the lines of the site and then developed to get a more functional design out of it. The sun path also played a role in the design. All the rooms where designed where they can get enough natural sunlight to reduce the amount of artificial light but at the same time not too much sunlight that would need extra air conditioning. The landscape was designed to attract people from the neighborhood and even people who just passing by since the rest of the houses in this area barely have a tree or two this project has a calming atmosphere that makes the area feel more natural and alive. It is aimed to add life to the neighborhood.
