Social Education Campus aims to provide an open and prosperous environment to high school students and the public, aiming to mix and socialize young people and the public. In addition to creating a contemporary education campus for students with formal and non-formal education modeling, a social environment was created with public spaces. In addition to their normal education, this high school is unique in terms of securing the future in terms of adding professional and technical experience that can meet the future preferences of students and gain skills to spend time outside of school time. In today's conditions, where normal education is not enough, considering the social environment in the Avanos district, ceramic and pottery workshops offer a professional environment to students. On the other hand, with digital studios, it is aimed that students are interested in technology while keeping traditions alive.
Inspired by the courtyard and bridge contexts of Avanos, the campus is shaped around a bridge that connects to the river over the main axis of the construction site. Classes, workshops, library and conference hall are in contact with the bridge, as the old houses of Avanos are connected by bridges. On the other hand, the buildings created social and natural spaces by creating courtyards. Social Education Campus is designed to serve 160 students. The Conference Hall and the library part are located on the side of the main road in order to be open to the public directly. The bridge separated the school buildings from the public spaces with a smooth transition. The public can reach the river over the bridge and provide access to the conference hall and library through the crossings on the main road.
