The designed school is a project school. Working in an interdisciplinary manner, which forms the basis of being a project school, and involving the public are among the basic principles of this project. While creating the spaces, they are designed in line with the needs of each studio, laboratory and classroom, in a way that maximum efficiency can be obtained in minimum space. Consisting of two main wings and a central building, this building is open to the public and students simultaneously. Necessary measures have been taken in terms of design so that neither side will be victimized. The functions of the buildings are separated by level difference. It is located close to the river, where the people spend more time, and the elevation of this place is +2. Science laboratories, which need more private areas, are buried at the -4 level and access by the public is restricted. Since the spaces created are open to the common use of the public and students, a wide, high, spacious and safe environment has been created in the classrooms and especially in the common areas. Wide circulation areas, low walls and glass facades have been used in order not to interrupt the visual relationship between the public and the student. The spaces designed for the public to access the art ateliers more, led to the need for double doors in some places. Since science laboratories need private areas and safe open spaces, these special spaces are desired to be provided thanks to their movements on the facades. The formal education buildings for which both student groups are responsible are located at the common point. This school, which will serve 150 students in total, will also be able to serve the public simultaneously. Collaboration, collaboration, group assignments, presentations, researches, projects are a basis for studies that will make the student a more active individual. The sources it feeds on are opinions that believe in bringing individuals related to the public and the environment in direct proportion to the understanding of "Bank Sreet". In this direction, as a third parameter, the people and students participating in the education should work with the environment with maximum efficiency. Another consideration while designing is nature. It is a light mass design decision that does not stand out much in a historical place like Avanos.
