HIGH SCHOOL WITH AN ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION MODEL

 Fashion S’cool design, as the name suggests, this design is a fashion high school. The reason I chose this name comes from the fact that today's young people find fashion and those who deal with it cool. Firstly, I want to mention my starting point for this project. My starting point is that when I make a comparison between old and new Avanos, I realized that the cultural trace or effect of it decreases dramatically. Also, in my opinion, the young people of Avanos doesn’t interest in the old culture, art or traditional art. So, I think that there should be something new. In this new thing, it was possible with fashion. It both attracts the attention of young people and measures their interest in such design fields 

 In my design, I used 4 main masses as an education area, dining hall-cafeteria, indoor podium area, library-conference area and a ramp in and around the buildings connecting these masses. This ramp is one of the hottest spots of Fashion S'cool and is the meeting point for students and visitors. Also, in the centre, there is an open fashion showcase area and all the ramps meet in this area. So, I put the catwalk in the center and shaped my other components properly.  

 In the education center, the fabric production machine in the technology and research laboratory is centered, and the students see the sustainable fabric making technique here. On the other hand, Students have the opportunity to learn and observe by trying many stages, thanks to many useful workshops and other laboratories such as the fabric drying laboratory.
