HIGH SCHOOL WITH AN ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION MODEL

In line with the analyses and impressions we have made in the field, there is a great interest in art in Avanos. Especially pottery is of great interest in the region. The interest in this art is reduced to high school age and contributes to the training of new artists. The school has a socially binding duty between art and the public, to further strengthen the bond between art and the public, and to involve the public more in this art. On the part of the area, which is on the Kızılırmak shore, there is a place that belongs to the school, and on the other side, there is a place open to public use and providing the opportunity to monitor in-school activities. Art organizations that combine these two different functions and the students who organize it. With these areas, which are located at the exact junction in the area, both the art-school section provides its own private area, and the public also provides the opportunity to be included in the school, and this area has been customized with a 1-meter elevation difference. It is possible to show the importance of art to the students and the public at the entrances and exits with the exhibition area that starts at two different entrances of the building. In order to both break the long massive mass and provide a common garden on two different sides within the school, there are inner gardens with a 1-meter level difference. These gardens also offer students a better quality sickle area.
