PROJECT REPORT

THE MICHELIN'S STARS is a design open to both public and students in Avanos district of Nevşehir. With Turkey's first and only Michelin-starred restaurant, they will train Michelin chefs and present cuisines from different cultures to local and foreign tourists.

CONCEPT

The project is located on the edge of Kızılırmak, which separates the avalanche from the middle. Therefore, the main settlement decision of the project is based on the idea of ​​being by the river and the view. In this context, the restaurant in the project is located by the river. Since Michelin stars are a food culture forum, they have been made attractive to people without any limits.

 

Atelier kitchens in the education department and well-designed atelier kitchens for future chefs meet the needs of students. In addition, pleasant spaces are offered to students with open kitchens owned by each workshop. With the hands-on conversations made by famous chefs in the auditorium, the Project has turned into a venue that promotes food cultures beyond being just a dining or training venue. The Michelin-starred cooking school and the Michelin-starred restaurant have been a cultural bridge between students, food and the public.

STRUCTURE

 The main carrier of the 3 buildings is steel and the roofs are designed as cages.

Ecological Life

Kitchens are one of the places where consumption is high. In this context, the project has been integrated with its own decomposition-composting method as it produces food waste on a daily basis.
