Housing + in Hürriyet, Kayseri

The housing project was located in Hürriyet. There are not many high-rise buildings in the area and there were generally commercial areas on the ground floors of the buildings. The design was made taking into account the characteristics and needs of the area. First of all, the boundaries of my space and the buildings determined the boundaries of the form. In addition, the axles in the area both added dynamism to the form and gathered people in a single point. Landscape was given importance in the design. The social areas on the ground floor shaped the landscape to be used together. The building program is more user-based. There are house types suitable for people who can live alone and for families.Materials that would be compatible with the space were preferred on the facade. In order to distinguish the entrance of the residence, the core part was resolved at a more specific point and the facade design was made different from the residences. The form was opened not only to the homeowners but also to the street, shaping the theme of togetherness, cohesion and communication, which is the aim of the project. The building consists of a ground floor and 3 residential floors. In the project, it was aimed to design a building that not only the users of the house but also the residents of the neighborhood could use and interact with.
