Ayşe Berfin Boztosun / C+ Housing

C+ housing, aim to bring together many different people. It offers various living spaces to those who use public areas such as dental hospitals, mosques and schools close to its location or who want to live in this location.

The building consists of two parts: social housing and kindergarten section. In the social housing section, there are plan types for singles, families with children and the elderly. The plans of these houses are mostly oriented towards directions where there is more daylight. The angled facades of the social housing on the south side were designed to provide angles of sunlight and a symmetrical appearance when viewed from the outside.

The second part belongs to the kindergarten designed for the care and development of children, whose scope has been expanded based on the nearby dental hospital. One of the problems that many working parents experience is taking care of their children while working. In addition, since the children living in this neighborhood can also study in kindergarten, their interactions and sharing increase. The exterior of the kindergarten consists of copper plates that change color as they oxidize to emphasize the change and diversity of the children. In addition, in the south direction and at the entrance, there is a garden with retractable glass panels, special for children.

Moreover, by creating a new passageway between the social housing and the kindergarten section to the park in the north, it was aimed to connect the area to the building and also to connect it to the kindergarten, which is a part of the building.
