Social Gathering Space at Büyükada

According to the analysis and synthesis I made in Büyükada, Istanbul, I concluded that plants have a very large place in Büyükada and that these plants and flowers are used to cologne and flavor dishes. Since people who do not have the tradition of Büyükada live in the area where the project is located, it is aimed to make these people embrace the Büyükada more with flowers and plants specific to Büyükada. Traditional wood methods were used for the project. The lower floors were designed with stone masonry, while the upper floors were designed with a wooden frame carrier system. In the facade cladding, the traditional facade cladding system called 'yalı baskısı' was used.
