Büyükada has a warm climate, a lively community and naturally growing Lavandula Stoechas fields. This project aims to exploring to different uses of French lavender, like in culinary, medicine and culture. Our main objective is using the island's natural features to strengthen the local identity, and encourage eco-friendly farming while uniting the community.

Users are informed about the flower, and they get to observe the phases of its cultivation. Following that, participants are given the chance to unite in the workshops, where they can engage in interactive group activities such as creating end products using Lavendula Stoechas in both closed and semi-open areas with the sea view. Also, take a break in the purple fields that surround the area while enjoying food and drinks based on French lavender. Finally, celebrate Lavender Festival from July 18th to 24th in the open activity area among the purple fields.

The placement of the buildings are arranged in a way that welcomes the users, leads them and create a defined areas. Material choice was masonary walls on the ground floor and wooden structure for both first floor and the unique roof structure. Emphasizing the nature friendly and sustainable approach to the design.
