Social Gathering Space at Büyükada

Wood workshops are included in the common gathering area concept designed in Büyükada, Istanbul.
The structure is designed for landscape gardens where people can bring products from their homes and repair them together, or where they can work together and spend time together, where they can apply what they have learned in the training and application areas in the designed structure, and then present these products to local people and tourists by promoting and exhibiting them. With closed, semi-open and open areas, every point of the project area has been designed with accessibility and convenience in mind for the use of all people.
This gathering space has a hybrid structure consisting of natural stone and wood. People come to this designed structure and do wood-related activities, lessons, repairs and activities together to create new products.
In the designed structure, common areas such as cafes, sales units and workshops have been arranged and sorted according to the needs of people. Thanks to the landscape gardens open to public use, the people of Büyükada and tourists communicate on a common point, and common gathering space are offered to people thanks to the unique sea view and unity with nature. It is designed for the common area where people want to spend time, with facade designs and landscaping suitable for the structure of Büyükada.
