This project dives into the fascinating world of flowers, offering a unique mix of workshops, a bustling marketplace and tranquil gardens. It is a sensory experience designed to develop a deeper appreciation for the art of floristry. The site I have chosen is close to the lavender garden in the Public Garden. This way people can also experience the lavender gardens.
The Heart of Creativity: Workshop .The project includes an intimate workshop (40 square metres) filled with inspiration. Here participants can explore the intricate craft of bouquet creation, equipped with all the necessary tools and materials. This space encourages artistic expression and learning, making it a haven where flower enthusiasts can hone their skills. Special types of flowers are also displayed in the indoor vertical gardens.
A Crowded Market Place: Bazaar
Opposite the workshop is a bustling bazaar, a semi-open paradise for flower lovers. This area is filled with a wide variety of floral products, from fresh flowers to handcrafted delicacies. The design of the bazaar encourages interaction, fostering a lively exchange of ideas and a strong community.
Journey to Beauty: Paths
There are 120 metres of natural pathways connecting the various elements. These pathways run throughout the project and highlight the surrounding gardens in all their splendour. They are designed to inspire mindfulness and a deeper connection with nature as visitors wander through the picturesque landscape.
A Living Canvas: Gardens
These flower gardens of various species and seasonal flowers provide a lush green backdrop for visitors to explore. The gardens serve not only as a source of relaxation among the flowers, but also as living classrooms showcasing the wonders of the floral world.
A Symphony of Flowers
At its core, this project is a comprehensive celebration of flowers. It seamlessly blends education, commerce and nature to create a paradise where visitors can learn, explore and relax. A harmonious environment that invites them to connect with the beauty and peace that flowers offer.
