SOUND EXPERIENCE PATH WITH WATER // BERRA OZKUCUK

The water and sound experience way is located in the area of millet garden site 1. Site 1 area covers areas with high social density and human mobility, such as entrance gate, activity area, sports fields, children's playgrounds, kiosks. In this context, the concept of the water and sound experience path aims to draw attention to the sound of water instead of high sound intensity and to provide a different short-term experience. It provides bi-directional human passage between the entrance gate and the event area with Decking ramps.

It includes different sound experiences with water in 3 stages. In the first stage, the water fountain labyprint is located along the ramps. It was inspired by the Kayseri Gupgupoglu mansion. The slope of the ramp provides flow to the water. Different water sound is obtained by giving different and curved circular paths to the water. The exit and landing are located on both ramps.

The second stage accommodates outdoor and semi-outdoor terraces. sound sculptures were used. Many different artists produce works related to sound sculptures. In general, sound sculptures create sounds in different notes with a metal structure and water coming out of holes. This application is of great interest mostly by children, including adults.

Finally, the third stage is located in a completely closed area. relaxing melodies are produced with water passing through pipes in this area with an area of 40 m2. It is inspired by Kvnsthofpassage sibging drain pipes located in Germany. From a design point of view, it has a softened triangular geometry that will adapt to the region where it is located.
