GARDEN OF JOY // PELIN YAYLA

As a result of my land analysis, I realized that my area was not used very intensively. Due to its location, it is close to both high schools and universities. That's why I decided to turn it into a social interaction area that many people, especially young people, will use. I also found a solution to this problem since my area gets too much sun and there is no shade.

First of all, I created closed and semi-open areas. At first, I had 2 semi-open areas and 1 closed area of 40 square meters. As a result of my research and studies, I decided to add 2 more semi-open areas. In this way, I created a larger space for playing games and shadowing.

By softening the form of my closed area, which had a sharper shape at first

I ensured that it provided integrity with the area. I was inspired by pavilions when creating my semi-open spaces.
