ART WORKSHOP // BUSE GÜVEN
The art workshop is an area that allows people to take drawing lessons and also contributes to their socialisation. The width of the green area where the workshop is located provides a spacious environment. Being close to playgrounds and picnic areas makes this area more attractive. Demand for the art workshop will increase with the density of people in these areas. In addition, its closeness to children's playgrounds makes it an area that parents will also prefer.
The area consists of three sub-areas: art workshop, painting area for children and recreation area. The art workshop provides services under three headings: portrait and figure studies, painting methods and basic drawing techniques. The painting area for children offers children the experience of painting in an open space. The recreation area offers people a peaceful communication area with its structure intertwined with nature.
The design of the building was inspired by the colour circle. Three main areas represent three main colours. Red, which represents passion, is used for the art workshop. Yellow, which represents joy, is used in the painting area for children. Blue, representing calmness, is used in the recreation area. Orange, purple and green, which are intermediate colours, are used on the road that directs people to the area.
Plexiglass was used for shading in the painting area for children, the recreation area and the road leading to the area. In this way, people will be protected from the sun and will have the opportunity to experience the visual feast of colours.
As a result, this colour-based area aims to provide people with a remarkable and entertaining space. The green area where the workshop is located offers people an environment where peace and fun are intertwined.
