HARMONY HEAVEN: NATURE & ART NEXUS //ŞULE NUR ŞENSES
Design for Everyone: Integrating Art and Nature for a Nourishing Experience"
People, even when they know it’s artificial, seize every opportunity to reconnect with nature because it nourishes both the body and the soul. My design vision is rooted in the principle of "design for everyone," and in this spirit, I have harnessed the power of artificial nature. Nature, even when fabricated, nurtures not only people but also art. With this belief, I have integrated art and nature; because nature feeds art, and art, in turn, feeds everyone.
The aim of my project is to enhance the quality of life through this integration. I strategically positioned my design to ensure that everyone can easily access it by connecting it to the shortest route. I placed the indoor area facing the street and positioned the outdoor area at the back to mitigate noise. Drawing inspiration from my concept, I designed the structure in an amorphous form, symbolizing the organic nature of nature and the fluidity of art.
Inside the enclosed space, I designed an all-season room theatre. For the outdoor space, I utilized the wall of the indoor area to project performances, thus offering opportunities for theatre, cinema, and other digital media art. This way, every corner of the space is intertwined with art. I enhanced the relationship with nature through landscape design, ensuring that users feel the presence of nature even before entering the building.
The project features a pedestrian path designed to make users aware of nature as they approach. This path gradually immerses visitors in the essence of nature and art, allowing them to experience the project's philosophy even before stepping inside.
This visionary design does not merely serve as a space; it brings people together with the nourishing power of art and nature. As a tangible example of my "design for everyone" philosophy, this project aims to enhance the quality of life through the fusion of nature and art. With this compelling and intriguing narrative, I wanted to highlight the aesthetic and functional values of my design, enticing readers to explore the project further.
