ART AND LIGHT // GUL BEYZA YUCEL
My design aim is to create an innovative space where people can experience different sensations through the "Art Light Concept." This venue combines art and light to provide visitors with a rich visual and emotional experience. Every corner of the space will greet visitors with different light displays, making them feel as if they are inside an art gallery.
At the entrance, visitors will be welcomed by an impressive exhibition hall. This hall will be illuminated by natural light during the day, with large triangular windows allowing the light to diffuse throughout the space in various patterns. This will give the artworks a unique appearance under natural light. In the evening, artificial lighting will take over, transforming the hall into a visual spectacle with various colors and moving lights. These light displays will ensure that visitors have different experiences during the day and night.
Immediately after the entrance, there will be a wide and semi open exhibition area. This area will feature interactive light installations, allowing visitors to engage with the artworks. The combination of natural and artificial light will make it possible for the artworks to be viewed from different perspectives at all times. Additionally, the artworks displayed in this area will be produced in the workshop.
In the center of the space, there will be a workshop area. This will enable visitors to learn the intricacies of painting while enjoying the light displays inside. Surrounding the central area will be a "close area" where light painting shows will be performed. This area will offer various experiences, making visitors feel as though they are immersed in beautiful works of art. From the system room inside the close area, staff will be able to easily control the light displays.
In this space, art and light come together to provide visitors with unique and unforgettable moments, helping them escape the routines of daily life. This unique concept is designed to appeal to people of all ages and backgrounds, increasing their interest in art and providing them with an unforgettable experience.
