INFINITY ROAD FOR CINEMA // MERVE NECLA OZTURK
The chosen area attracts attention due to its proximity to the entrance. Additionally, there are children's parks, event spaces, and sports areas around it. I integrated my design with kiosks placed in the center of the event area to establish a connection with these surrounding amenities. Having been interested in cinema since my childhood, I designed my project with a fluid concept cinema theme. The name of the project is "Infinity Road for Cinema." I spread my design across the area using circular and fluid shapes, and I spaced the columns to allow easy passage. This design ensures a continuous flow within the space.
The cinema exhibition showcases the evolution and history of film, displaying iconic movie memorabilia and informative panels about cinematic milestones. The film sound effect design area allows visitors to explore the fascinating world of sound in movies, with interactive displays demonstrating how sound effects are created and used. Screens throughout the space constantly show a diverse range of films, providing a dynamic and ever-changing visual experience.
In the technology and equipment section, visitors can learn about the tools and techniques used in filmmaking, from cameras and lighting to editing software. The phone booths feature iconic phone scenes from famous movies, allowing visitors to step into these moments and recreate them. The costume and accessory exhibition displays famous outfits and props from beloved films, offering a tangible connection to the movies we love.
Film credit screens provide information about the creators behind the scenes, celebrating the efforts of directors, writers, and other key contributors. The film poster sections feature artwork from various genres and eras, highlighting the artistry and creativity involved in film promotion. Finally, the interactive area with a green screen allows visitors to immerse themselves in movie magic by participating in live-action scenes with special effects.
Overall, I have created a space suitable for all ages that cinema enthusiasts will love, where everyone can have fun, engage culturally, and interact with the exhibits.
