I based my concept on this main theme with the concern of creating a space where citizens can learn and experience urban policy making and learn how to be a good citizen in this process, come together and discuss urban problems. I realized that I needed to design spaces where they could exhibit good urban policy examples from around the world and share these examples with each other through seminars. At the same time, I aimed to design an incubation institute where they could research these policies.
Then, I determined the main axes on our project land located in Kadıköy, Istanbul and accepted several meeting centers as the starting points of the axes. Then, I made the meeting center the center of the project and aimed to place the spaces around it. I aimed to create an open area and meeting area where the main axes meet in the project layout. I ensured the connection of the spaces with terraces and viewing balconies. I aimed to carry the building with a reinforced concrete carrier. My aim here was to combine my wide-open windows with exposed concrete and achieve a simple and effective appearance on the facade.
