One of the biggest problems in Istanbul and the world is pollution. To combat this, I envisioned the establishment of an incubator that supports green energy start-ups and encourages collaboration between these start-ups and companies. This design will also host workshops to raise public awareness and build a bridge between the state and the public. There are three different buildings on the ground floor: public workshops, an incubation center with information areas, a hybrid event area, and a cafe. The street design connecting these structures connects Yoğurtçu Şükrü Street and Başçavuş Street, reflecting the street design of Kadıköy. As the building rises, the functions become more specialized with special bridges that facilitate passages. The bridge on the first floor turns into a terrace with a sea view of Kadıköy and is located on the upper floor of the cafe. The technical walls of the cafe rise, becoming a distinctive structure that rises above the deaf façade supporting the technical needs of the design and differentiating it from other facades. As you go to the upper floors, the bridges become more specialized and serve more private functions. Using polycarbonate translucent panels for the exterior, the transparent façade concept was preserved and energy gain was aimed.
