The textile and fashion industry, which is an important part of the economic development of the city and the country, needs sustainable competition. This sector, which is becoming more popular day by day, is now almost completely dominated by ready-made clothing and factory products. In particular, I think that women's participation in this sector will positively affect the motivation for production, which we need for economic development, being more active in society and business life, and an increase in employment. It will also be a good step to make a difference in this sector, keep pace with change, and be open to innovation for the people in Kayseri. The project area is located on one of the most popular boulevards of Kayseri historically and culturally. It is a point where shopping and boutiques are located. Moreover, this project, which was designed using the Hatuniye Madrasah, which is located in the area and does not have an active function; it is an opportunity for the reuse of forgotten historical buildings, raising public awareness, a sustainable economy, and women to work more actively and collaboratively in society. The concept of the project is explained with diagrams and the approach to the project area is actually to hide the madrasah from the boulevard and direct people there with a passage. Using red aluminum panels, a light, and easy-to-assemble façade and passage are designed. The purpose of this design is to attract people's attention by giving the appearance of a piece of fabric left on the building due to its form and actually to guide this journey to the madrasa and its continuation. Visitors can experience how to design, how to sew etc. On the other hand, women who want to work in another sector can collaborate with other entrepreneurs. The existing small businesses in the project area also work as the sales units of this center. Designing convertible flexible spaces is one of the main aims of the project. Therefore, the spaces are separated from each other by fabric separators or folding and pivot doors. This makes the building both more open to the outside and easier to adapt to the transition inside.
