GATHERING SPACE


The aim of the design, which was made by using the endemic culture of Divrigi, was to bring people together. With the opportunities design offers, it allows people to interact with each other while benefiting from this area. Offering approximately 1600 square meters of indoor and semi-open spaces, this design also aims to become the landmark of Divrigi. In this context, it is necessary for people to experience with their five senses by keeping experience in the foreground. "INCLUSIVE DESIGN" with its appeal to people of all ages in Divrigi. Due to the use of stone and wood, which are traditional materials of Divrigi, "natural building techniques and materials "Social responsibility" design, as it provides opportunities to people of all ages and walks of life and protects their cultural assets.


NATURAL BUILDING MATERIAL AND TECHNIQUES


Rammed earth walls are constructed by ramming a mixture of selected aggregates, including gravel, sand, silt, and a small amount of clay, into place between flat panels called formwork. Traditional technology repeatedly rammed the end of a wooden pole into the earth mixture to compress it. The reason why chosen rammed earth is sustainable, easy to construct, biodegradable, provides thermal mass, climatic design priorities.
