Design approach of studio
Architectural Design Studio 3 focuses on producing a spatial experience close to the urban periphery. The students will suggest a new vision for "gathering spaces" that bring people of all backgrounds and abilities together in the urban core of Divrigi. The “social responsibility”, “inclusive design”, and “natural building materials and techniques” will be the three pillars of the design problem. The students will propose a “gathering space” by following socially responsible architecture and inclusive design principles and using natural building materials and techniques. The design solution will also cover a supportive open-air activity with open/semi-open spaces and landscape design, mainly focusing on the existing landscape language and production landscape.
