Hazın

Nihat Ayan

The starting point of the design is "Hazın" which has become a culture in the district of Divriği. In this culture, people come together to prepare food for the winter and spend time together at the same time. In addition to this starting point of the design, a workshop that supports organic production was needed. Gardens that allow the harvesting of crops to be processed in this workshop are essential for organic food production. While Bazaar allows the sale of surplus crops, it also supports the sale of crops produced by the local people themselves. Divkoop market which is a Divrigi formation and organic cafe will help the public in supplying organic products here. The main warehouse, which is in an accessible location, will provide storage to the market area and to the workshop when necessary. The warehouse space roof will turn into an open drying area and, if necessary, an open activity area for the workshop. It is aimed to preserve the architectural structure of the city by using natural stone (andesite) masonry technique. Spaces were placed in accordance with the inclusive user definition, and the target audience was kept as wide as possible.
