The design idea comes from the alternative medicine methods such as phytotherapy, hydrotherapy and musicotherapy, used in the Turan Melek Darussifa, which is also important for the DivriÄŸi, and especially the endemic plants belonging to the DivriÄŸi. According to this information, my design approach is to use these plants. Thus, the area divided into three parts which are planting – processing and consuming. The south-west part of the site is for the planting area. Because of the slope, the area is levelled into three and these areas are used for culvitation. The processing unit is located near this area and when the plants are harvested, they go there for processing and store. The consumption is on the other side of the main axis. The main entrance is located on the north-east part. The square which is active open area is also located near this entrance. The market and vertical circulation area is near the car park. The culvitation area is considered to be more private, so the entrance is near the processing area. The processing is making things that can be eaten like marmalade, dring of plants, extraction of oils and using these oils for making soap. The consumption of these things are done in main building: Herbal markets are selling these plants, the cafe & restaurant part making tea or herbal foods and the spa use the oils and soaps. The structural system of the buildings considered to be sustainable. Thus, natural stone and wooden structure are choosen. The transition of different structural systems occurs when the second floor windows are located. Moreover, the pool part have own wooden structure.
