I designed a media center because I realized that there is no media center that people can use in the
Divriği district of Sivas. I paid attention to climatic conditions and cultural factors in my design.
Sustainability of the designed area was an important detail. While paying attention to the use of
public space in the design, attention was paid to the fact that it could be a gathering area. While
buildings are positioned around an axis, the breaking point of the axis is designed as a square. In the
designed square, there is an outdoor seating area of the cafe, a foyer area and a semi-outdoor
seating area that the cafe runs jointly. There is also an amphitheater at the end of the square, which
is for holding public forums when the weather permits. The doors of the closed areas open to the
square. There are three indoor areas. These are the conference hall, the studios and the cafe. There
is also an exhibition area in the foyer of the conference hall. In addition, studios are of two different
types, closed and open.
