Kobe High School
KOBE High is an international High School devoted for youngsters with high athletic potential and talent. From my own experience, lots of extremely talented young individuals tend to drop out of school at a very young age in order to have enough time and energy to pursue a 100% athletic career. Whereas these same people could easily build a bright future along with at least graduating from high school.
The high school I have designed is named after one of the most legendary athletes of all time. The great KOBE BRYANT who has recently passed away. I thought it would be such a nice idea to name such a devoted school after him.
KOBE HIGH offers both basketball and volleyball trainings along with a balanced educational schedule. From mathematics to physics to chemistry, additionally to some electives such as languages (french, turkish, english...) and others (mental training, psychology, nutrition...).
This high school system is very similar to the turkish educational system where high school is consisted of four main years (freshman, sophomore, junior and senior).
The campus has two main big building shaping the letter U, joined in the first floor by a bridge. The U shape represents union, community and teamwork. Which are three main keywords for my concept.
