The biggest reason for me to choose this high school style in high schools is that it is related to Kayseri and it is in my interest. When we investigate the history of Kayseri, it is seen that the food culture in Kayseri goes to the hittites. When we look at the historical context, and there is another high school culinary school under the name when you compare it with turkey. The high schools, which are available, provide education under the name of vocational high school. There is only Mengen culinary high school in Bolu. With my project, I am trying to increase my interest and education to a better level. At the same time, it is aimed to increase students' desire to learn with more active learning areas and spaces. While planning the design, firstly topography was taken into consideration and differences in elevation were used. The design consists of 2 separate building masses and the main transition section connecting these 2 masses. School The school has a capacity of 200 students and has 10 theoretical lesson classes and 10 practical kitchen classes. Students take practical and active culinary lessons from the 1st grade. The school also has a conference hall, open exhibition areas that can be used for multiple purposes, areas that can be used in activities such as kermes, festivals, and a meeting room that can also be used for multiple purposes. The orientation of the school is predominantly north-south, so that it will not disturb the people in the west heat and the sun, at the same time, the disturbing effects of the sun are reduced with solar panels. The reason for using 2 linear masses that make up the design is to benefit from more light. Also, with the openings made in the design of the building, the corridors that get easier light integrated with the green and the corridors are turned into more active areas. This situation was taken into consideration when designing the building, so activities and workshops they could do not only outside but also inside were considered. The conference hall and the building, which is called the transition building, offer places where people can relax and have fun at the same time. In short, the building was designed and designed considering the new generation and its needs.
