Commercial-Trading High School 

The design idea is that creating courtyard as a public and private ( student) using by building. This two court have different characteristics and attached to present and yesterday. Student part represent    history of trading Kayseri and public court is more attached with present and future. Also the public court has level differences because of the tapograph of area. It seems that there is a movement, past to future, stundent to professional, tradional to modernism. That is the design idea when I started to projectt.


My first idea is that craating a long building repsresent a long journey to be professianl market man. A long building has 3 exlpoding  different part from the main one in the middle, at the begining and at the end. My thought was this 3 part represent apprenticeship, journeyman, mastery.

Then I split the building into two separate parts to take advantage of the properties of the area as I mentioned above. I put this idea into practice when I gave the functions of  the buildings. There is a dining hall in the apprenticeship department, the dining hall and the classes are dominant because they have to eat and learn. The library dominates the journeyman section to learn more and to focus on other topics. Finally, I put an auditorium in the master department. He has learned everything now so that he can tell others what he has learned.
