Social Inclusion Hub/Rukiye Er

After the civil war in Syria, many people had to migrate. The province of Gaziantep, which borders Syria, is one of the provinces receiving the most immigration in Turkey. During this period, women and children suffered the most. The aim of the project is to provide social status to immigrating women and to include children for whom women are responsible while doing this. Because women who have children do not have a safe place where they can leave their children. for this reason, they can distance themselves from social life.
In the project, it was desired to design areas where women could come with their children. Areas where women can work on textiles were designed and level differences were created where they could see their children while working.
The part with the stairs was tried to be refreshed with gallery spaces. With the glass roof that can be opened, the gallery spaces are ventilated. In addition, the old mansion structure was restored and converted into a cafe, and the courtyard located in the front was designed in connection with the new building.
