FASHION SPEAKS A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE. With FASHION SHOWS and EVENTS, it creates a new IDENTITY for itself. Fashion communicate to the world for the people. By using this powerful feature of fashion as a communication tool, it is aimed to establish a bond between the local people living in the city and the refugees. This Hub, mostly for women, brings together creative minds and allows different cultures to merge. In addition, it is aimed to increase the employment of the people by providing various job opportunities, which is another strong feature of this sector. It aims to make the city an important center for international fashion event.
The squares in the immnediate surroundings of the area are potentional nodes. Monuments in the squares are objects that make a homogeneous cultural environment possible.In the project, it is planned to use these squares for large-scale fashion shows. Squares are considered a very effective method to increase integration with the city.
The Hub plays a big role in supporting the local fashion industry. It is forward-looking with a focus on sustainable practices and efficient product development. It provides spaces for networking and business development with diverse professions, and people. Thus, it provides a variety of interaction experiences. It is an educational place for everyone to improve their knowledge and self-development with the fashion industry.
The center is the space where ideas and design are performed to reduce the damage caused by the textile and clothing industry. It includes purposes such as designing by recycling waste clothes, how they can be recycled, how designs should be made in order to facilitate the recycling of clothes, identifying problems, collecting information, conducting research for sustainable material selection, brainstorming to reduce chemical use, and finding solutions.
It is a fashion center with various functions consist of catwalk, educational spaces, lecture rooms, workshop areas, exhibitions, discussion spaces etc. There are workshops and exhibition areas open to the public on the ground floor. There is a platform for the presentation of the designs designed in the workshop area. Wide stairs provide the opportunity for people to sit and rest and watch the design presentations made here. The roof is designed for fashion shows. It is aimed to fascinate people with the historical view of the city at the fashion shows to be held on the roof.There is an atrium in the middle that touches the courtyards of the city, allowing all the units inside to receive light. This created atrium allows interactions between units to be experienced.The stairs in the atrium want to remind the stairs in the local architecture.
