Harmony Digital Art Center /Sümeyye Akkamıs
It is an art center where people keep up with the modern age and come together in the city with both landscape and building design, and hosts many activities and venues in both indoor and outdoor areas. The design is integrated into the city center and is located in an area that is easily accessible. By reflecting the historical, social and cultural memory of the city and integrating it into the era, open areas with cinemas, VR platforms, holograms and light shows have been designed. The masses are located around the triangular square, which is provided by the axes taken from the city and the pedestrian flow. The auditorium building is integrated with the exhibition building and there is a cafe serving the area of these buildings. The exhibition building consists of permanent and temporary exhibition areas, a digital memory library and spaces where animation-VR and sound performances are held. There is a landscape design that encourages the area with pedestrian axes provided from the city. In the facade design, depending on the digital art concept, an attempt was made to integrate the facade according to the spaces, depending on the requirements of some spaces not to receive indoor light or the requirements related to the light and space. A dynamic dimension was added to the façade with glass, using fiber cement coating on the closed, light-free facade.
Design purposes; To increase Kayseri's socio-cultural activities and interactions. To ensure the continuity of the cultural path, to bring together the young population, tourists, local people and everyone, to experience art and technology by keeping up with the times. Digital artworks aiming to preserve Kayseri's cultural heritage and create the memory of the city will be exhibited in the permanent exhibition areas. The other aim will be to reveal, exhibit and experience digital art data based on universal art, society, environment, history and culture every month.
