Sense of Art/Ezgi Bayram

In this design, the focus is on the senses and the experiences they will bring to people by combining with architecture. In this project, the most powerful transfer method, the sense of smell, was used. While allowing you to experience the power of the sense of smell, areas have been designed to use additional senses together. The building was designed considering the historical building configuration of Kayseri. It combines a transparent mass surrounded by ramps, planned to experience and integrate 4 different structures. The aim is to enable the building to be experienced in the best possible way by turning the ramps into exhibition areas, workshops, and cafes in certain areas. At the same time, a floor was planned at minus elevation where the axes coming from the south and north come together. Access to this floor is provided by a ramp from the south facade and by steps from the north facade, and a large space with an open upper area is created in the middle area, surrounded by ramps. At the same time, this space is terminated by a transparent floating mass on the upper level. People combine all their experiences with the specially designed sculptures in this mass.
