Kayseri's Performance Stage Center/Büşra Kabak
Contemporary performing arts can be presented to people in different ways. In this project, it creates demonstration areas that can be held in different places and takes people on a journey within the area. The courtyard, located at the -4 level, connects both the auditorium, theatre hall, exhibition area or studios, and provides mobility with the relationship between the lower level and the upper level. While access to the lower level is provided by the stairs that meet the main axis coming from the square, areas such as the cafe and library on the upper level are also accessible from around the courtyard. In order to create a contrast with the high buildings outside the historical texture around the area, people come together at the lower level with such a courtyard. For people coming from the south, there is an open area performance area called the open stage. The cafe, which also faces the south, offers music and dancing opportunities to its guests, and a view of Mount Erciyes from the opening in front of it. On the façade, the ETFE façade system with a semi-permeable surface differentiates the auditorium. Glass and metal coatings in line with this language were also used on other facades.
