"Domatia" used for Doğanbey village means small communal rooms in Greek. This can be seen in the same way when we look at the structure of the village. Its structure, which consists of small houses settled on the slope of the mountain, forms the architectural structure of Doğanbey village. Located in Söke district of Aydın, the village was evacuated because it did not meet the needs of the villagers and was moved a few kilometers downstream. Villagers can do agriculture and animal husbandry here in Yeni Doğanbey village. Afterwards, an intellectual group from other cities bought and restored these houses. When we look at the trees and walls of the village, we see some informative papers. Here, there is information about the past of the village and how it was re-established or the rules of the village.

For this reason, it was seen that the village was not fully promoted and the residents of the village met this need by sticking paper on the trees and walls. Therefore, an open-air exhibition was envisioned using the ruins of the village. In addition, there is a building that has been meeting the needs of the village since the past. This building has survived as a police station and hospital school in the past. It now functions as a visitor centre.

Looking at the village on a large scale, it has two strong entrances. There are two different roads, one leading to the Visitor's entrance and the other leading to the other slope of the village. As a design idea, this road was chosen as the main axis in order to gather people in front of this visitor center and make the first entrance from here. Because of this point of view, a need for space has arisen that needs to be met by people. The front of the visitor center was designed to be more welcoming. It has been ensured to be an area that meets this with the help of the masses of the Research Center and the landscape. However, when entering the area, there is a route to describe DoğanBey as an open-air exhibition of ruins next to the visitor center.

The Visitor Center's function is maintained as is. However, it has been observed that the exhibition areas it contains are inadequate and do not comply with today's technology. For this purpose, the Visitor Center is designed to be more digital and allow us to experience the Dilek peninsula. Exhibition areas, Library, Administration, Cafeteria, Conference room are available and its closed area is 700 square meters.

As a concept, the position of the masses and where they look play a very important role. Because the visitor center should not hinder its communication visually and should accompany DoğanBey's view. Therefore, there is a gathering area in front of the Visitor Center, a research center and workshop area to comprehend this area.

The Research Center is a system based on examining, processing and storing the data coming from the Dİlek peninsula. The samples received here are examined in laboratories and then grown in protected areas. The received information is stored digitally. Finally, the grown seed is stored in the underground seed bank. It has a total area of 340 square meters, including two laboratories of 35 square meters, an archive of 18 square meters, a lecture room of 25 square meters, a cultivation area of 40 square meters, a seed bank of 90 square meters.

The workshop and seminar room is one of the most public spaces, and a place overlooking the landscape and in contact with the valley was preferred. It has a seminar room, workshop and foyer area. There is a workshop of 60 square meters, a seminar room of 60 square meters, and a terrace that reaches out to the valley with the help of panels from the seminar room. It is 230 square meters in total.

The accommodation center, on the other hand, has an area that dominates the view, further away from the public spaces, as it should have more privacy. There is a shared kitchen, rooms for 2-3-4 people, a work area and a bathroom. There are rooms and work area of 26 square meters, kitchen of 35 square meters, bathrooms of 28 square meters. From the kitchen, there is a backyard that opens to the open space.

The design generally has a structure that dominates the landscape and follows the topography. There is a top cover between the masses in order to strengthen the relationship between the masses and to establish a visual communication. Trees that need to be protected can breathe through this top cover. The whole view of DoğanBey village can be seen from the terraces in front of the assembly center, the pier between the Workshop and the research center.

As for the façade, a more modern approach was followed. The metal facade in front of the glass facade directs natural light. With this understanding, the emphasis was placed between the old and the new by not imitating the architectural structure of Doganbey.
